The calendar and graph explained in this lesson will help show data in a quicker way.  It is important to see immediately what the graph and chart (calendar) could look like.  Charts are an easy way to describe data and explain what the information means.  Students enjoy observing charts and graphs, and they really are actively engaged when they are making their own graphs about information they have collected.   Vertical charting with positive and negative integers on thermometers is a great experience for all of us involved in working with math strategies (students as well as adults).  The function print screen capture was a useful tool for me to capture features that are necessary for my lessons. I need to reflect on the websites that contain information and application of estimation, measuring, area and perimeter, volume, and other 2D shapes.  Making the multiplication table will be a great help as a teaching instruction to students.  There are numerous websites out there that students can use to help with problem-solving strategies.  Thank you for making available sites that have been tested and are considered beneficial.                                                                                                 Lorrie G.

The websites that I have visited are incredible.  There so many ways to use them: research, virtual labs, and review games.  Podcasts and vod-casts I found could be used to introduce topics, relate topics to real world problems and events or reinforce what we have already been studying.  Some of these may also spur discussions and debates on real world science.  Many of the websites have great review games.  There are so many ideas running through my head, unfortunately there is so little time in the school year to develop many of these ideas properly.  This class has definitely given me ideas of lessons and presentations that I would like to put together over the summer when I have time.                                                                                            Chris S.
